Born in west Tennessee and have lived here ever since. I grew up fishing the Hatchie River and the sloughs that border it. My Dad would always take me bream and catfishing and we would also run trotlines and limblines. When I was around 12 yrs old Bill Dance, yes that’s right, the legend himself, started taking me crappie fishing. I tell everyone that my Dad taught me how to fish but Bill Dance taught me how to crappie fish. The good thing is that 50 years later I still get to crappie fish with him.

Growing up with friends that hunted and fished together since our childhood, we started filming a lot of our trips in 1987. In 2018 I started filming outdoor trips for Southern Woods and Waters television, CBS, Channel 5+ in Nashville. In 2019 I was a co-host of Southern Woods and Waters RADIO, on an ESPN network out of Lexington Tennessee. In 2020 myself along with 3 other awesome folks, we started the TENNESSEE OUTSIDE Facebook live show. It is done live every Tuesday night at 7:00 pm central time in Bolivar Tennessee.
